Who we are

CEAS is run by consulting engineers, for consulting engineers. We’ve been providing risk management advice and insurance services to our members in New Zealand for over 50 years.

CEAS objectives

  • Guide CEAS members on how to minimise their liability and avoid liability claims
  • Provide CEAS members with quality technical, legal and insurance advice
  • Provide CEAS members with tailored professional indemnity and other insurance options

CEAS Board

CEAS is governed by a Board of up to 10 members, elected from practices operating throughout New Zealand. Board members are principals of the CEAS member firms. The Board elects the Chairperson and appoints the Secretary, Insurance Consultant and External Auditor.

The Board meets on a regular basis. All CEAS members are invited to the Annual General Meeting.
