ACE NZ membership discount

All new members who join CEAS and ACE New Zealand concurrently are eligible for a CEAS Membership Subscription Rebate during the first two years of membership of both organizations (conditions apply). The current rebate amount is $250 per year.

Don Houchen $25,000 scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to one or more people each year. Recipients must be an employee of a CEAS member firm, and have a minimum of 3 years industry experience. The scholarship can be used over a 3 year period for:

- course fees and other costs associated with further education
- attendance at conferences, seminars, short courses or workshops.

Free expert advice

Our Board is made up of practising engineers engaged in a variety of disciplines. Board members act as advisors to industry groups and government agencies. CEAS will provide free advice on any aspect of your engineering project, including engagement terms, technical and insurance related matters. When you are insured through CEAS we will help you to:

- manage claims
- settle or defend claims
- deflect possible claims
- negotiate fair contracts.

Education and knowledge sharing

We run a series of free annual seminars at a number of locations in New Zealand where experts share their experiences and insights. We can also provide free in-house risk management seminars for your business.

As a CEAS member you get access to guides, manuals and case studies so you can learn from the experiences of other businesses like yours.

Indemnity Matters is a quarterly newsletter that updates you on developments in the engineering industry and other areas that affect your business and the insurance cover you need.
